About the Role

As the Senior ITS Support Officer, you’ll bring your technical expertise to support, integrate and continuously improve Intelligent Transport Systems across the state. You’ll provide hands-on support across multiple system tiers, working closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure these systems are secure, reliable and delivering maximum impact.

Your work will span technical administration, system development and lifecycle management — from responding to complex issues to proactively improving ITS platforms. You’ll also contribute to policy and strategy updates that support digital innovation and long-term capability uplift.

This role includes participation in an on-call roster and occasional out-of-hours support during system rollouts or upgrades.

What you’ll bring – and why you’ll want to be here

You’re technically sharp, solutions-focused, and thrive on variety — from troubleshooting complex issues to optimising systems behind the scenes. You’re confident working across multi-tier enterprise environments and skilled in interpreting problems through both a systems-thinking and user-impact lens.

Your communication is clear, your collaboration style is proactive, and you bring the kind of judgment that earns trust. You’re equally comfortable working independently or with cross-functional teams, and you bring a continuous improvement mindset to everything you do.

This is a hands-on, full-spectrum role in a team where your skills will be valued and your contributions will help deliver real outcomes across Victoria’s digital transport landscape.
