About the role
This is a Fixed Term Position until 29 June 2029
This role leads strategic planning work to investigate the future realignment of Melton Highway over Kororoit Creek and the extension of Aitken Boulevard through the Beveridge North-West PSP. The work will identify land requirements, support precinct planning and help deliver planning outcomes, including potential planning scheme amendments and land acquisition needs.
The successful candidate will manage the study, including consultants, stakeholder engagement, program delivery and reporting. They will also work closely with internal stakeholders, support relationships with councils, represent regional interests in land use and infrastructure projects, contribute to future transport investment priorities and assist with broader strategic planning activities.

- Thinks strategically, considering whole-of-system impacts, translating long-term objectives into actionable plans and guiding others through the planning process.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
- Experience delivering projects and initiatives aligned with the key accountabilities and capability requirements of the role.
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, strategic planning and project delivery.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, project management or a related field would be highly regarded.
