About the role 
The Senior Workplace and Contracts Officer provides project, contract and support services that deliver effective, cost-efficient workplace outcomes and value for money. The role provides technical advice, uses sound judgement when purchasing goods and services, and supports the management of outsourced functions.

The role builds strong relationships with stakeholders, customers and suppliers to ensure services meet agreed standards and service levels. It also identifies opportunities for continuous improvement, researches best practice, and contributes to developing policies, strategies and initiatives that improve workplace systems, processes, products and services.

  • Understands commercial considerations, including costs, supplier relationships and contractual obligations, and seeks value for money and efficient outcomes.
  • Communicates effectively with different audiences, understands stakeholder needs and uses industry information to support sound commercial decisions.

Qualifications and experience 

You’ll bring: 

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a government context is desired (desirable) 

 

Pre-employment checks and employment conditions
