About the role 

This is a Fixed Term Position until 30 June 2029  

The TNPI Planning Studies Manager leads the delivery of key transport planning investigations across Melbourne, supporting the development of future transport strategies, major projects and investment priorities. The role manages planning teams, stakeholder engagement, consultants and project delivery activities.

 

The position provides strategic transport network advice, develops integrated plans and builds strong relationships with councils, government stakeholders and internal teams. It also contributes to the development of a pipeline of priority transport projects to support future investment decisions.

Qualifications and experience 

You’ll bring: 

  • Experience relevant to the accountabilities and capabilities of the role (mandatory).
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, project management or a related field would be highly regarded.
