About the role 

The Transport Planner Advisor supports the Transport Network Planning Integration team to plan for Melbourne’s future transport and land use needs. The role reviews development and transport proposals, ensuring different transport modes work together and support future communities and broader network objectives.

 

Key responsibilities include providing integrated transport advice, contributing to network and corridor plans, applying Movement and Place principles, and supporting transport project development. The role also engages with senior leaders, government, councils and community stakeholders, provides timely advice, and independently manages multiple tasks and projects across a broad geographic or functional area.

Qualifications and experience 

You’ll bring: 

  • A relevant tertiary degree such as Planning, Economics or Engineering is required.

 

Pre-employment checks and employment conditions
