About the role
The Vehicle Safety Officer provides technical advice and support on vehicle standards, safety and registration requirements. The role assists customers, partners and stakeholders, investigates potential non-compliance, assesses scheme eligibility and supports the administration of vehicle safety and certification schemes.
The position also monitors emerging automotive trends and technologies to inform vehicle safety policy and contributes to training and instructional materials. Building strong stakeholder relationships is important to resolve issues, identify improvements and support the effective delivery of vehicle safety products and services.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
- Appropriate technical or trade certificate/qualification and/or experience relevant to the requirements of the role (mandatory).
- Customer service experience in a fast-paced professional environment (desirable).
- A personable customer-facing manner and strong written and verbal skills (desirable).
