About the role
This is a Fixed term position for 2 years.
This role uses independent professional judgement to plan, deliver and monitor road and bridge projects, ensuring they meet scope, quality, budget, time, safety and environmental requirements. It involves researching and reporting on project performance, managing contracts, and applying road and bridge design, construction and maintenance standards.
The role also involves identifying and managing project risks, developing practical improvements, and providing clear advice to internal and external stakeholders. It requires effective negotiation, communication and teamwork, while supporting a productive team environment and undertaking other duties consistent with the role’s skills and responsibilities.

You’re someone who:
- Coordinates project planning, scheduling, resources and complex contract specifications.
- Anticipates risks and barriers, taking proactive action to keep projects on track.
- Applies strong knowledge of pre-construction, construction, contract administration and quality management.
- Negotiates with and influences stakeholders to achieve positive project and customer
outcomes.
- Promotes teamwork, accountability, customer focus and innovation while applying sound risk management practices.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
- Relevant experience aligned with the capabilities and requirements of the role.
- A qualification in Civil Engineering is desirable.
