About the role 

The Road Delivery Lead is responsible for delivering road maintenance across Victorian freeways and arterial roads, including rehabilitation, resurfacing and routine works under the Victorian Road Maintenance Contract (VRMC). The role also supports the preparation of high-quality project approvals in line with corporate requirements.

 

The position requires sound professional judgement, independent planning and prioritisation, and strong project and contract management skills. It involves ensuring quality, compliance and best practice, managing risks and resources, preparing technical documents and reports, and working effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Strong communication, negotiation, teamwork and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential.

Qualifications and experience 

You’ll bring: 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Asset Management and/or demonstrated experience in road maintenance, pavement management, construction, asset management or a related field. (mandatory)
  • Open to travelling to Bendigo (flexible work arrangements can be discussed)

 

Pre-employment checks and employment conditions

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
