About the role
This position provides a unique opportunity to join the Public Sector Reform Implementation team as a Policy Officer within the Cabinet and Governance Branch.  

You will have an exciting opportunity to demonstrate your stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills and gain a valuable understanding of DPC’s role as a central agency and government accountability requirements.

To succeed in this role, you will have a good understanding of public sector governance and public administration. You will also have excellent project coordination and interpersonal skills.

About you

  • Strong policy analysis skills and the ability to provide clear, high-quality advice to senior decision-makers on complex public sector governance matters.
  • Experience contributing to strategic projects, legislative reform and policy initiatives that strengthen public administration and public sector management.

This is a Fixed Term role available until June 2027. This position is only open to applicants with relevant rights to work in Australia.
