Title: Senior Adviser, Cabinet Information
The Senior Adviser, Cabinet Information has a crucial role in ensuring continuous alignment of Cabinet-in-Confidence (CiC) policy and procedure with Executive Government and statutory requirements. You will have an exciting opportunity to demonstrate your stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills and gain a valuable understanding of DPC’s role as a central agency and government accountability requirements.
The role will suit a professional and highly organised individual, with a commitment to service excellence. The successful applicant will have a thorough understanding of government processes and the ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships within the department and across the public service.
You will use your excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders from across departments, Ministerial offices, the Victorian Auditor General’s Office (VAGO), and the Public Records Office of Victoria (PROV). You will handle requests and provide guidance and advice on access and provision of CIC documentation, coordinate annual transfer of CIC records to PROV and Caretaker requirements in election years. Strong attention to detail and professional integrity are required to work with complex and highly confidential documents.
